North Carolina - Preliminary Competition

Virginia - National Finals

North Carolina Preliminary: Join Gilbert Gonzalez, Brock Griffith and Phil Rogers as they compete in this exciting colt starting competition Friday, Saturday and Sunday!  Each trainer will have one hour each day to use natural horsemanship techniques to get his colt ready to accept saddle and rider. This event is one of three preliminary competitions leading up to the finals in Virginia in October.
(Schedule will be posted 2 months prior to event)

Championship Finals, Virginia:  Winners of 3 Trainer Challenge competitions (NC, IL, AK)  will come together in this exciting face off to compete for championship title.  2007 Winner, Tommy Garland, went on to compete in the prestigious Road to the Horse colt starting competition in TN.

See who will join Hall of Famers Tommy Garland and Ed Dabney.

 Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM, Sunday time TBA. 

Trainer Challenge admission is included in general expo admission price.
